I've been coming across more interesting research picking up on trends in older populations - such an untapped market! 1 in 6 individuals worldwide will be aged 60 and older by 2030.

Boomers (aged 58-79) are now dominating dating apps and having more orgasms, while younger generations are moving the opposite direction. Wired published a fascinating article on this featured in the newsletter below.

Boomers are one of the fastest growing categories on dating apps. Wired covered the rise of older singles joining apps as younger generations reject them.

Highlights:

On Feeld, members aged 60-plus have increased by 340% since 2022
Match.com, the 50-plus crowd now accounts for 26% of the platform
1 in 5 singles in their 50s has used Tinder

And it certainly sounds like they are having more orgasms than younger generations...

According to a 2023 Singles in America study from Match that found 90 percent of boomers were having orgasms during intercourse in the last year, compared to 54 percent of millennials and 50 percent of Gen Z singles.

Boomergasms Are Booming

Dating apps from Feeld to Match have become ground zero for aging singles to unlock their newfound sexual appetites—and a bolder sense of self.
